Eichenbach is a small village right in the Eifel Mountains. Its many heritage timbered and half-timbered houses give the village a very unique and authentic atmosphere. You can spend the entire day exploring the various hiking and biking trails directly reachable from the doorsteps of our home.

Just ten kilometers from here you can find Lake Freilinger and the Mayen zip-lining forest. And if you are interested in hunting and fishing, you will find ample opportunity for both. To fully experience the magic of traditional Eifel Mountain culture, you should also take the opportunity to visit the neighboring historic villages of Adenau, Arhweiler, Münstereifel or Monschau.

But it’s not just the grownups who will find everything just as they like it – there are plenty of things to do for the little ones as well: not far from us you will find a number of animal and bird parks where you can admire both native and exotic animals. There is the Fantasialand theme park in Brühl with „Summer Bob Sleigh Runs“ (A German favorite – almost like a rollercoaster, but without the loops) and swimming pools.

And should one feel the need for cultural experiences or simply some holiday shopping, the ancient city of Cologne and the former German capital Bonn are not far. And last but not least – the world famous Nürburgring race track with racing throughout the year. After an interesting day you can relax in our sauna.
